We became parents! Our family came to visit and Cannon got to meet Nana, Aunt Rachel, Gramma and Grampa Kurle. We also celebrated our first Easter as a family of three.

In April, we got to see Uncle Jake, Aunt Sarah, and Michelle.

It's been warming up here in Arizona. Papa and Ping came to visit and we had bbq at the pool. Christine celebrated her first Mother's Day!

Cannon's Heart Adventure

Cannon had open-heart surgery on May 21, 2008 to repair a hole in his atria, a hole between his ventricles, and to clean up a formerly open PDA. Covered by many prayers, he is now in the process of healing and recovery.

By the way...

Yesterday we had the baby's ultrasound gender results sealed until John and I could open them together. When he got home from his flight last night at Nellis, we fired up the webcam and skype and opened the envelope together. (Isn't modern technology amazing!?) The frontrunner name for our little lady: Camryn Claire Caldwell. We're excited!!
