Last Thursday night John and I went to Linkin Park's Projekt Revolution concert. I had bought the tickets for John for Father's Day and the event finally rolled around. We found an awesome babysitter, got ready to go, and headed down to the concert venue.
And then, there we were waiting for the band to start -- great seats, center section, surrounded by hyped up, screaming fans all on their feet. But us? We sat -- dead tired! Maybe it's the lack of sleep with a baby, the full-time jobs, or maybe we're just not as young as we used to be, but we just couldn't find the energy. It was an intense show with amazing sound and we did finally get on our feet and enjoy ourselves. We made it through an hour of songs and then headed home to our baby exhausted and feeling older.
